Tyler, you need a "chili" plate.
3/8 hole size for a coarser grind.
I think LEM has them in sizes 1/8 thru 3/4 in 1/8 increments.
hand dicing is a pain.
when making deer chili I only hand dice if younger cousins are involved... Very Happy they chop the meat, I make the chili... Laughing

I have a chili plate. It is just the way they make it. Sort of like those pieces of fat back in mortadella. ( like Bologna but with fat and pistachios and pepper corns) I know what you mean I wouldn't want to do all of that dicing all the time for chili. Smile
