Been a while since I posted here. Needed one more hog for the freezer to stock us up on breakfast pan sausage for the year. Got some neat night vision stuff for Christmas so me and the father in law decided to go sit for a night at a friends place. My stand was slow but he had a nice one come in about 9:30pm. We had been there the weekend before also and had seen hogs at both our blinds but didn't get any shots.

Nice! And good to meet you at the cleanup! I love that pattern in feral hogs they remind me of wire haired dogs _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

Good looking hog. What did it weigh? 150lbs? Maybe 175lbs? _________________ Jacob McDonald

Good guesses. We figure about that. We got 95lbs back from the processor so figure with head\skin\guts that should be about right.

The way I have figured out after meat is processed is that the meat is approx 1/3-1/2 the weight of the hog itself. The rest of the weight is skin, fat, guts, and head. _________________ Jacob McDonald

| Love it. I'd love to get a night vision set up for hogs. |

| Been hog hunting twice and both times the hogs stayed home. Nice job with that hog, going to be some mighty fine eating there. |
