WE WERE THERE AT THE CABIN. I LEFT A MAP WITH DETAILED DIRECTIONS ON THE WINDSHIELD OF MY TRUCK AT BIRD ISLAND BASIN. WHEN WE RETURNED THE INFO WAS STILL UNDER THE WIPER BLADE. WE WERE AT THE CABIN FOR ALMOST THE WHOLE TRIP. LEFT FOR A LITTLE WHILE AND WENT BACK INTO THE NINE MILE HOLE DRIFTING FRIDAY AFTERNOON BUT THE CABIN WAS OPEN FOR YOU ALL.. WAS KINDA WORRIED DUE TO HIGH WINDS. THOUGHT YOU GUYS MIGHT HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO CROSS THE BAY TO THE LAND CUT. THE NUMBER TO MY FLOATING CABIN IS NOT FC 155. I'LL SEE IF WE CAN MAKE SOME ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOU IN THE NEAR FUTURE FOR YOU TO GO WITH ME, IN MY BOAT.

I figured it was a miscommunication. We launched from my back yard and headed south, it's just easier to load all the gear and leave the truck at home with my wife at the house. It was still an adventure, I had just got my boat running after some work I did at the house and it came down to the last minute if we were going to make it at all. I did a couple things that I shouldn't have and some I didn't that I should have....ran out of gas just south of bird island on the way home and had to call a friend to come help us. The trip across Baffin was miserable with the wind and the waves. I have a redfin so yeah we were soaked to the bone and getting a chill from the wind. The boat did run good but man it was drinking the gas. I guess maybe I need to save for a four stroke. Look forward to trying it again when you get ready.

YOU'LL HEAR FROM ME SOON. SORRY TO HEAR WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU. I HAVE BEEN GOING DOWN THAT WAY FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD MANY TRIPS THAT HAVE HAD OUTCOMES WE DEFINANTLY WERE NOT EXPECTING.
