Daaaaaaaannnngggg there are some monsters there
Every one I caught was on a 52MCHG Mirrolure.(Chartreuse green top and bottom with a gold side) Every one Point caught was caught on a TT28 (Red back, gold sides and a yellow belly with black spots) Point prefered the TT model and I always threw the 52M model. I could get the 52M model to wiggle a little by turning the line tie slightly to the right. The TT model to me was impossible to get it to wiggle at all. Some days he would outfish me and some days I would outfish him. We made a good team back then.

You give a great history lesson, GT. Like the way you support your lesson with pictures. You've certainly caught some very nice fish.
Don't know that rod & reel, would be as productive as trout lines, but it would certainly be a lot more fun. Yes, hard to trout line without a boat.
Now it is time for you to get back to work!

Mark the F'in line legally and there won't be any problems. If anyone approaches my vessel, I hope they are quick on the draw. When you do not mark your lines vissibly for other boaters, your the one breaking laws. I have no tolerance for lazy arse fishermen. Mark your lines properly, end of story!

Sounds a lot like that other guy whose name we shall not mention! Change the channel
