Motor still not working right so I took the Yak out to Pita Thurs around 2:30. Paddled out past Pita and let the winds take me home. Water was anywhere from 1' to 4'. Using my usual bait. Picked up 8 trout, 3 keepers. Kept 2 for dinner. On the way in I was watching an osprey sitting on a channel marker. I saw a mullet jump. A few seconds later another jump. After the 3rd jump I had to head that way. When I got close enough I threw my sand eel where I saw the mullet and on the second twitch of my lure I get a hit. Bring in a 25" red. Vacuum sealed it for NM.

Came home and sauteed the trout in olive oil and butter. When it was brown I removed it and added some mushrooms and green onions, with a squeeze of lemon juice and a dash of white wine. When veggies were soft I added heavy cream and reduced. Spooned sauce over the fish and had a feast.
