Been to Richards, not impressed. Been to Bass they spent a lot of money on eye candy but you pay for that with anything you buy. Great place to go if you have never been to one. Their shelves are empty of ammo as well as their gun racks. But that is everywhere. I do have to say they have very nice inside range. Bass Pro fishing supplies are plentiful.

As for the food image it borders on what I would call explicit. ( don't think I can use the word I want to here) I wouldn't think trout could get away with that. Very Happy

After their reaction to scary guns...I won't give them a dime of my money.

Richards can suck it.

finally went over to Richard's yesterday just to check it out... I'm definitely in the "not impressed" category.

I don't think Roy's has anything to worry about... Richard's fishing selection was pretty bad, and obviously they have some wallaye fishing yankee picking out there selection. basic stuff like shimano reels, and gulps, but when you can get the exact same thing for the same price (shimano price protection) from Roy's or even academy, I struggle to see what the advantage is.

their hunting selection was weak, I went to see if they had a certain trail camera, and even with academy's torn apart store with pretty bad selection, richard's still had less.

guns... for the most part, looked like a bunch of junk with a couple higher priced items mixed in.

archery.... 4 or 5 broadheads types... hunting clothing, very sparse, and not even all sizes available in common things like under armor hoodies.

nice looking store. amazing it can be so full, and empty at the same time.

Richard's focus is team and individual sports, like baseball, Football, running or golf. If they sell you a reel or shotgun while you are there they win. If you are looking to hook or shoot anything keep on looking......

Witness! Went to buy my daughter a pair of running shoes. They seemed to have a countless selection, but only a couple of sizes of each model.
