I found the most rewarding formula for catching drum today...
one 8 yr old cub scout + 12lb test = nice drum

A Cub Scout Pack from Houston is in town this weekend to spend the night on the Lexington. Trey and his dad Rick took the time to do some fishing for awhile this morning. We were able to stay on oversize drum most of the morning this is Trey's biggest, caught on lite tackle with 12lb test and did it all himself.
Couldn't of had a better day. Very Happy

Mike

Excellent job!!!! Any man that takes time out of his day to help the cub scouts so that they can learn positive things and have fun is a true man. I was a cub scout and a boy scout and still a proud supporter of them. One of my closest friends was a scout master. Hes also one of my good fishing buddies lol.
