| Wondering if anyone would like to share websites, apps ect. on there favorite place to check out the tides. Also another question I haven't quite figured out yet, say if low tide is at 10am and high tide is at 10pm when would the water be moving the most? Would it be around 4pm? Right in the middle? Just some questions I would love to better understand. Any input would be great. |

you'll need to spend some time "ground truthing" this site with the area you're fishing, but once you do, you'll always know exactly how much water is in your fishin' hole....
the TCOON interactive map is what you want on http://lighthouse.tamucc.edu

One of my favs... http://weather.k5bv.com/ ...Besides the recent(within 10 mins) wind conditions in AP at the top of the page...scroll down to about the middle and you'll see the box titled Texas Tides ...click on any of them red dots...I dont know how they do it, but each dot is linked in with NOAA's reporting station for that particular area....
.
Regarding your questions relating to actual water movement...Too deep for me, too many variables affecting the actual movement, primarily the wind...I just wanna know how high or low it actually is so I can plan accordingly...My 2 pennies...G |
