As cool as that was it was dumb. I bet after stick his arm thru the gill plate that fish dies. What a waist.

Interesting. To me, nothing beat having a fish on the end of you line. Feeling the strike is like getting struck by lightening.
In a way catching fish is better than sex. The forplay generally lasts longer. Every little bump, and blow up, is tantalizing. The runs take your breath away. And when you finish, and catch your breath, you're ready to go again. And, best of all, you can keep going ALL DAY LONG.
Don't think my body would be up to catching tarpon by hand, or having sex, all day long. That's why I love to fish.

THat place is actually pretty neat. If you are ever in Islamorada, robbies pier has a great little reastaurant for breakfast right there, and the tarpon that they feed off the back dock on HUGE, as you can see. There are also big jack crevalle that come in to feed too.

As for that guy...what a maroon.

Robbie's at Islamorada - BEEN THERE and it is real cool... walked out there with my family to feed the tarpon,,, kids had some smelt or someting,,,, fish everywhere...we had a blast... Then my mother-in-law walked out to us and stared at'm... scared the hell out of the fish,,, took'm 2 days to come back.
