How bad do I want to fish in the morning bamared ? May have to take Navytexan along if I can muster up enough motivation to go. I'm working on it. Maybe after a steak at the Roadhouse and a big MARGARITA i will have the courage to rig things up to go. Very Happy

Hey IMS, this might motivate you. Despite almost freezing to death
I caught my limit on Friday morning, some very good trout.

It was so cold on the water the ice in the fish box didn't melt, Caught them all on a Tidal Surge Manic Mullet Glow/Chartruese fishing deep.

And to your original question. I think its a bit too early to try in the humble, although they could certainly be caught now, i think towards the beginning of feb will be better. I have had better luck in that area from february to april

It's 9:30 PM and if tomorrow is anything like it is right now I will definitely be on the water somewhere also. No winds, clear and fish are biting in the canal on white/red "lil fishies".
