For those of you who have forgotten. These photos were taken by a local fisherman here in Charleston SC at Castle Pinckney right before Christmas. I'll let the photos do the talking.
Photobucket ruins the resolution, if any is interested on getting hi-res copies send me your email. _________________ "Our houses are protected by the good Lord and a gun And you might meet'em both if you show up here not welcome son" -Josh Thompson |

Great pictures, but I have a question.
Why does that flag have so few stars |

LOL. That one never gets old. Almost as good as the occasional pubic vs public. Not that I take "treeson" lightly, of course. |

Bald Eagles rock! One of the very few "nice" things about living in Little Rock is that there are many at Lake Maumelle just west of here. More than a few even stick around and breed here. My wife saw one east of here last week while driving to a quilt show!
Many years back I was at the lake in late winter and counted 13 in one cove!!!! _________________ Dave

| This summer, about a mile from my home in NM I saw 2 eagles sitting together about 50 yds off the side of the road. What made it unusual was that one was a bald eagle and the other was a golden. Have never seen two sharing the same area like that. |
