pinsfish

Got out at daylight and immediately caught pomps at the 24 went to the 30 and 34 later but th fish quit biting. Went to come back north and saw a man and woman standing next to their Jeep. When I got to them he signaled that it had died.
Asked if I could help and couldn't turn them down. Pulled that jeep all the way to the 1 mile and left them at their camper.
Funny but the woman couldn't quit saying merry christmas over and over. Their first trip here in 29 years. They had no money to pay and had not caught any fish for two days. Cleaned a few of mine for them and left. Felt good. My best trip of the year.
Made me think how good we have it living here and experiencing this awesome area.

Treasure our PINS and other fishing areas. We are blessed to have them.

Thank you for sharing your tale of kindness. It helps restore my faith in human beings to know that there are still good people, like you, who help others....(not just bad people who kill children, teachers, and firefighters.)

Paying it forward is an important part of the fishing brotherhood, especially down PINS. I haven't fished there in years, although all the years that we did, we always remembered, "what goes around, comes around". That was great of you for the help.........cC
