I tried to buy a lyfetyme smoker or at least trade for one in advertising but Marsha, the owner said they were back logged at least 12 weeks and that she didn't need any more business. I thought the smokers at MG Builders were Lyfetymes but they are a competitor from Uvalde who look just about the same. After I found out a Lyfetyme smoker similar to the one I got for Christmas would cost 1179 dollars plus 400 dollars shipping I bought the one below for 899 plus tax and 75 dollars to deliver. It is going to be awesome.

Here is the transformer fork lift I call "Lipitor Prime" delivering it on Wednesday 12/26

And set up

You will get a lot of miles out of this. I would recommend using lump charcoal, or at least the Competition grade brickettes from HEB. The Competition brickettes use no binders.

Score some of my BBQ sauce recipes at:

Thanks using lump mesquite and wood. I am seasoning it for the second time after brushing all of the insides with crisco!

Nice looking pit. Does it have a temp. gauge? Plenty of good times to be had around that pit. ENJOY

MG Builders because of the backlog and 400 dollars to ship the Lyfe Tyme.

Yes it does have a grate in the firebox so I can use it as a smaller grill.

Panthera, going to break it in with a brisket starting tonight! We'll watch out for the Bovine BBQ Bandit! Very Happy
