I was wondering if anyone knows some decent spots to hunt duck in the ULM. I'm kinda new to the duck hunting scene. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you do have a boat, scout out the area the day before (or just hunt!). I usually see a bunch over the shallows/ spoil islands (basically everywhere Very Happy ). The first time I went we had good results with a simple decoy set-up and some basic calls. Use natural cover or some sort of blind.

@ SeanHHH & MakoJJ- I do own a kayak. I just haven't done much scouting and really don't know where to start. And I heard some of the spoil islands in the ULM have signs on then saying they're bird nesting areas/sanctuaries and are off limits, but just never looked into myself. I do have some decoys but not many. I would like to have at least 2 dozen to make a decent spread. And it would be great if I could find a spoil island to post up on.
