| I heard you can buy live shrimps and fish from the shrimp boats at People's Thead? Do they sell them on the weekends? When do they come back from shrimping everyday? |

We picked some up Friday evening. They come in some time from noon on depending on how the catch goes. We've been going down there for years now to buy the small size shrimp for use as bait on PINS. You can usualy find some that are still kicking and thats what we prefer. Then I know they are fresh dead when I freeze them. Best bait I know of for the surf. _________________ "If you don't like the way I'm live'n, just leave this long haired country boy alone" |

i have seen the shrimpers trawling near the ship channel by the bridge. Has anybody ever followed closely behind them to catch whatever is following? I didn't see any boats.
In the open sea, tuna and other game fish follow closely behind the shrimpers. Would that be a good tactic for CC Bay? |
