okay...so i heard there are some iffy rules about hunting the oso....what are the regulations? are there any parts of it that are legal to hunt?

I always wondered the same thing. With the number of birds there, you would think someone would have a blind out there (if it was legal).

Cody R. we need your help. From what I recall it is legal though the people living off of Ennis Joslin on the water bitch to the police.

Everyday after work there are thousands of birds...all around.....why not put a blind smack dabb in the middle of the south side of oso.....pretty sure thats a thousand feet from the road...

Not so it is illegal according to this article from David Sikes since that area was incorporated into the city in the early 80's

Read the Sikes article this morning and remembered the last time I was in the Bluff (Thanksgiving weekend) a couple of guys were hunting the Oso in a temporary blind in the corner of SPID and the soccer fields. Plain as day in broad daylight.
