Well, after seeing a slight pomp window and surf temps hovering near 70, i thought i would head south in search of some fish. Nearing the 20 the weed really started picking up and would stay that way deep into the 50s. Around the 54 i set up camp and soon after was on to some nice pomps. I was sure at some point the current would switch with the wind and head north.....but it never did, and throughout the day i kept watching those dark patches of weed heading my direction and it finally ended my fishing later in the eve....i did manage a few fish after dark but it was just to much and i surrendered ....Too bad...there were lots of mullet and bird activity all around and water clarity was awsome! Still yet another fruitless trip as far as sharks go but it was a nice night on the beach....Till next time.

I got em backwards, dixie is the healer, and luna is a catahoula ( spelling?) yes, She has one blue eye and one brown ....great beach dogs except when trying to castnet bait.....soon as that cast net flys outta my hand they charge the water....It usally doesnt turn out well! _________________ SOUTHERN CUSTOMS

| Nice report Johnny. I am off next Monday and Christmas week. It looks like duck hunting may be on hold due to the weather so I may plan a trip down soon. It was kinda nice wade fishing this weekend in shorts. |
