Anyone here have any unusual add-ons to the traditional Chex Mix recipe?
I have researched and found what seems to be an exceptional add:

Since Chex Mix is mostly a salty snack, I like to add M&Ms for a little sweetness and at the same time I throw in some dries cranberries for their tartness. _________________ "Money will buy you a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail." - Kinky Friedman

My wife adds the fried onions that you put on green bean casserole. _________________ Give a Man a Fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a Man to Fish and he will sit in a boat And drink Beer all day. Fish 24:7 |

The bacon fat was kinda of a let down. Was hoping for a more intense bacon flavor oh well, but I did find a big bag of peanut butter filled pretzel bites that were a great addition.
Here is a before and after picture.
Bacon Not Pictured...LOL
A mild pile, and a very spicy pile (used Dave's Total Insanity for the spicy pile).

I bet the Dave's Insanity WAS spicy! That would sell a lot of beer if they served that at a bar! _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

One tiny drop of Dave's on a chip is probably hotter than a tablespoon of Cholula.
They carry several varieties at Specs. _________________
