All this alligator talk got me thinking....where do you carry your pistol? Leave it in boat or truck,,,, but if you are wading, where would you want to carry. On your chest, shoulder?

Wade n gun! I'd carry it as high as possible. My buddy, who packs, keeps his in a shoulder holster.
Gotta be careful not to piss anyone off ..... Never know who's packing

Should I worry? It ain't the f___ing wild west out in the bay. I'll bet your buddy doesn't whip out his gun every time he gets pissed. I'll bet he carrys it for protection...
Stupid thoughts like that give gun owners a bad reputation.

Just pokin' a lilttle fun........If you're licenced to carry then you are not some gun slinger. And, yes, I poke fun at him out on the water. "You gonna catch fish or shot them?" He replies, "Well they better not get lockjaw. You can't get too serious....gotta have some fun.

Carry one. You don't need it in the bay but you damn sure might find it handy when you get back to the truck.

If I remember right, several folks have been robbed and a couple of young ladies murdered by the water this year alone. Confused

I'm not worried about "perception". Don't really care what folks think.

Have one Stowed on the boat every time we go out in case of jus such an emergency. Got stopped by CBP couple weeks ago no problems with having firearm on boat.
