Went for a lil wade this morning after I finished up a job in Ingleside, I stopped off at the (Portland) Causeway on the way home around sun-up. Waded some of my spots in the area and was rewarded with a very nice stringer of fat trout. Winds were calm and the bait of choice was the chicken-on-a-chain Saltwater Assasin shad w/ chartreuse tail. Trout & redfish bite has been the best I have seen in about 3 weeks!!!! I cant wait for the big saddle blanket flounder to move into the back-bay water way as well. They should be moving in any day now with the Flounder Run around the corner and a TRUE COLD FRONT in the forecas

Great catch and on the whim report ,Trout looking good and cant wait myself on some nice size flounder.Been doing my home work on how to be consistant on catching some flounder and im ready for it .Thanks for the report.
