Spent Saturday with Tom at Calallen middle school's 7th grade volleyball tournament.
A fun time off the water was had by all.

I KNOW that guy.... Damn good ref. (Had 1 daughter go from 7th - 12th in VB - 3 years varsity... and now my youngest is 7th&8th VB). Too bad he was not at the HS gym in Calallen today, because the ones there today had a tough time with the "lift".... But the 8th A did O.k., and the 7th A did a little better).

tbart, they played very well and if they stay focused they are going to be a force to be reckoned with. In pool play they looked unbeatable with the exception with one hick-up. Sat next to Kate's #8's grandfather....very rambunctious man.

I try hard. 25 years being a varsity VB coach and another 12 years of doing camps and private lessons doesn't hurt. |
