I know it was a couple weeks ago, but just now getting the pix on the computer. sorry I don't have an awesome report like some of yall are typing up now, but I just wanted to share some pix.





first fish of the day.. never caught one of these and thought it was a very neat looking fish. had to go look it up when i got home.. Barred Grunt



all of the other fish we caught were dozens of whiting and a couple hardheads. some of the whiting going well over 14", but this was by far the coolest thing to reel in..



i told my dad that he caught the wrong fish


and i'm sure most have seen this but thought the tiki man was pretty cool too





all in all we had a good weekend.

I caught one of those grunts a few years back. Neat little fish.
I'm always intrigued by the random artistic sculptures and creations left on the beach.

yeah that little guy fought pretty hard too.. best part is the last 5 or 6 times i've gone down there, i've caught something new.

gotta love the ocean
