Going offshore fishing tomorrow morning but TS/H Issac is getting me nervous.

Swell info is still reporting it will be ok out there, using words such as "clean" and "glassy"

http://www.swellinfo.com/surf-forecast/corpus-christi-texas.html

Whats everyone opinion on a 5-10 mile trip offshore from Packery.

Thanks

I only have a few rules in life....

one of them is to not go offshore when there is a hurricane in the gulf.

Welcome to the forum, OneMoreCast88! I wouldn't go offshore with all that's going on in the Gulf right now with Issac. Ya get sick and then it's all downhill from there.

I saw a forecast for 4-6' seas tomorrow. Pretty bumpy if you ask me.

Fishing is always good before a storm or a front.

So.....???

Did you ever make it out OneMoreCast88? Just wondering.

The current conditions nearshore (42020) shows 3-4 foot seas with a 9 second period!! Surprised

Forecast to build to 5-7 today, before laying down later in the week.

Give Drunkswimmer a break, sit on the beach and have a cold one.
