Me and the wife fished the bridge for a few hrs after work today. Got one dink trout and one oversized red all caught on mullet. Got stuck in the finger by some little sliverfish. With a yellow tail. Hurt as bad as a hardhead. Not a bad day. Thanks lyle

The one that finned you was probably an Atlantic Bumper. They have a double pointed "fin/prong" that can stick out from the bottom of their belly.
I've gotten some nasty, bloody stabs from them.

I've had decent luck with flounder right on the drop-offs with live mullet or artificials.
