got out with a buddy(Flounder Daddy) and fished the Lower Laguna Madre on his boat, we found quite a few trout and he landed 4 reds and the big 22inch trout, we fished live shrimp and gulp under DOA corks..
the brown tide seems to have mostly dissipated, water clarity was pretty good.. i couldn't land a red to save my life, i really wanted to get a keeper on artificials..maybe next time Smile

we kept a 20inch red and three trout 17, 18, and 22inches, we released plenty of legal fish..

X4 Most of my slot reds comes from gold spoons. Plus spoons are good fish locators.
