Hi everyone took the yak out this morning to the bird/ fish habitat by Portland and didnt have any luck so my friend
and i went over to the causeway and caught a couple of keeper trout along with several small ones..anyway i recently installed a 30lb thrust minn kota trolling motor on my ocean drifter kayak and i was wondering if i now need to register it since i have a "motor"on it...can anyone let me know..thanks a bunch |

Yes, you must register any boat with a motor on it.
"Texas Registration Requirements
The following vessels when on Texas public water are required to have current registration, including when docked, moored, or stored.
-All motorized boats, regardless of length"
