Thank you Casey for posting the photos. I will have to get someone to teach me how to do that. Glad you like the camper also.

That is a sweet set up and the only way to camp.

I have not gone down very far either. I hope to go all of the way to Mansfield this year.

If you see me, stop by. I all ways have something cold to drink.

Happy camping
Cliff

If you see me feel free to stop and chat as well. Everything is small including the bathroom and shower but we spend very little time in the camper except to sleep. We are outside most of the time at the waters edge or perhaps next to a fire.

When we started looking at truck campers there were very few dealers and models to view right in San Antonio. I found a specialized dealership just north of austin that had lots of brands and models in stock. I have no relationship with them except I bought a camper from them. Here is a link to professional photos of my camper inside and out.

Nice rig. Is that a 5.5' or 6.5' truck bed? When I asked locally they told me my 5.5' bed on my F150 Supercrew was too short...

My truck has a 6.5 ft bed. I believe there are some campers that will work for a 5.5 ft. bed. There is a online truck camper magazine with links to pretty much every brand and every model camper.

I bought a 2ft X 5 ft aluminum hitch mounted carrier for additional storage. There is a large luggage rack on the top on the camper but I am getting a bit old to be climbing up and down for things stored on the top. I have seen kayaks and canoes carried on top of the camper. There are several outside storage cabinets plus I laid down the back seat of the crew cab and packed in that area also. I have no doubt if more of us start using truck campers on pins we will figure out ways to get all the gear we want down the beach and back.
