Hit the sand about 1 mile SBH. Driving was good. Water was choppy but decent clarity. Lots of mullet. Still plenty of weed in the water. Made long lines tough. Caught nothin on them, not even whiting. Broke out the short rods and nothin again. Getting awful tired of freakin weed. The guys next to us pulled out a couple small trout. Looked to be using a spoon but not sure. _________________ Fortune favors the brave... |

I was in that red jeep and got squat also. My friend hooked something on a gold Johnson silver minnow. It could have been a small trout or a whiting. The deepest best wade guts were no farther than where you were. Further south I think most were too shallow and or rough. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

I forgot to mention there is a huge group of folks camping just outside the park boundary down about 6 miles south of Bob Hall Pier. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |
