First off, HOW BOUT THEM SKEETERS this morning? They were really busy helping me to hurry up and get the boat loaded. My report is almost a carbon copy of yesterdays but the winds were lighter the humidity was up and the barometer down some I was sure things would be better. Got to my first spot as it was getting just light enough to see. First cast with a mirrorlure fire tiger ( my all time favorite ) if you can find them. I got this one at Bass Pro. First cast boom a 20 inch trout. After that nada. She was in about 16 inches of water along the edge of a channel. I thought for sure it was about to go off, it did not. Ended up fishing down past Pureoil hitting the sloughs of Nighthawk and working both edges of the ICW. My tatics and presentaion were spot on maybe even a bit more than usual. They just weren't there neither was bait i didn't even see a stingray, I did get a glimps of a few mullets. Only one other trout was caught and it did not make the cooler. Tomorrow I may hit points north of the jfk. Thats my report with no spin. I hope to see some better reports from both lure tossers and bait chunkers. Cheers...IMS.

yep a 20" spec makes a good meal no matter how you slice it....

We will see how tomorrow goes. May have to get a fish fillet at Long John Silvers for dinner if the luck doesnt change. .......naaaaa
