Looking for any Kingfish reports. Planning on trolling the tankers in close and then hit the rigs for endangered red snapper. _________________ Be polite to everyone but be ready to kill them in a moments notice. |

seems as if almost everyone who is fishing ribbonfish is catching some kings..
if conditions look good go for it i think you will find them...
those tankers have produced some huge kings for me...
try slow trolling/drifting a frozen 8-18inch ladyfish in with your ribbonfish on those tankers, i have seen the kings choose it over ribbonfish a few times...
try two weighted ribbonfish and two flatlined ones till you find what they want to hit..adding a little color skirt or duster can make a trip(green, pink, glow are some of my favorites)
would have posted earlier i just dont have first hand nearshore knowledge at the moment _________________ http://www.youtube.com/user/Shark456Bait/featured

| Went down Wedneday. Hit the ships early, nothing. Ran out to our rigs for snapper. On the way back in found some kings around 15 miles trolling plug & ribbon fish in open water. Good luck on your trip. |
