Well ive been gone for a while but im back!

Thanks to whoever started the rumor that i was in a accident, think i know who it was hahha, i had a lot of calls asking if i was ok?

anyways i am ooook!

made it back around the 25th or 26th somewhere around there and here is whats been going on

No Le hace tournament on baffin....our team caught but nothing to compete was hard finding the fish with pretty much no prefishing...

spent a few nights trying to drum but almost no points for KW lot of 14-17's but they are coming in slow with only 8-9 a night

had a few lost trout with the full moon and topwaters

Casting for a cause came around and it was AWESOME!

Great tournament, great cause, and great company!

Was cool putting faces to handles although forgive me if i dont recognize some of you i am horrible with faces and names

Morning of the tournament started in bad shape, lost my paddle somewhere on the drive and had to make a 3 mile paddle with a check it stick *sigh*

Reds were busting bait all around me around 9, all over the flats! I was being bombarded by mullet trying to run away from hungry reds...

I beached the kayak and had to wade fish to them, mud was thick and was hard to see them before they saw me

still managed 4 reds just too big 34" 30" and 2 29" both 29's were 12 even on my digital these reds were stocky and FAT on about 4" mullet

headed back to weigh in to win a door prize..hahaha...its funny because i didnt win one Wink...still a awesome time i will be back next year =)

headed back out with adrian from team malibu, hooked up twice on reds on the flats and lost them both =/

got back out with Big Kahuna and started off with some tops and trout managed decent sized ones pink skitterwalks

they smashed with a click click pause click click pause and a really fast walk the dog so go figure i think it was more of them just finding it....

went back to the redfish and too windy to see them but did spook several...

winds picked up and started for drum, pulled some 16-17" drum out but lost the only one good enough for points...

its been slow thats all i can say...i will be fishing a lot harder these next few days got some major kayak wars to catch up with

anways thats about it! im alive and well! Expect a better report soon guys i promise!

I can just imagine a prehistoric nomadic version of AcousticTennis, padding around in a dugout canou with long unkempt hair (not much a stretch lol), catching drum on some 3000 BC version of fishbites.

Good thing u are still alive, haven't seen a post in a while Laughing . that sucks about your paddle, but at least u had something. Just take it slow bro and the fish will come. It's been a while since I have been on the water but I have noticed it has been slower than usual. Good report though man.
