Does anyone know of a place in the Corpus area that will troubleshoot/repair a Gramin GPS unit?
Contacted Garmin and they said that due to the unit being discontinued, they would not repair.
Thanks in advance,

| With the price of GPS units so low now, are you sure it's even worth the trouble? The repairs might be more than it's worth. |

Just won't power up.
I verified power at the plug, cleaned all the pins and still won't power.
While I understand the cost could be larger than a new one, it may be something as simple as a power button which would be much cheaper than a new one.

The internal battery may be dead. That was my problem. I did not ask them I just sent it to them for repair. The sent me back a rebuilt unit. Mine was also out of date. So if worse comes to worse send it to Garmin they are really good about customer service. _________________ I LIKE MINE FRIED. |
