We went out just a few miles and trolled ribbons with no luck, so we tied off to a near shore rig and the action started shortly after. We had something big on a few different times (probably a shark), but it kept cutting through the wire Kingfish leaders. We kept five nice Kings and caught a few small Snaps. Good time with friends and family.

one of the few times ive seen mark in a boat that wasnt a powered by a fan hahaha...looked like a great trip!

The water was perfect and the blue water was in close!

@AT...I do enjoy duck hunting out of Mark's air boat.

nice report

could have been wahoo you hooked and lost..they were out there, so were the sharks but the big hoo's will be there for the next month or so..
not sure how far out you went, but i have heard of big hoo's landed at the 5mile rigs..
