How long do you think we are going to have to fight this stupid brown tide?? Is this a 'normal' thing?

Probably till the bridge is built like the queen Isabella causeway... The jfk is a Damm in the middle of the ulm...and the water can't seem to flush out of the ulm south of the jfk

i think the entire coast of tx is affected . its the same way in galveston brown chocolate soup water. can see the blue not too far out but just wont come in . few fish being caught. mainly hard heads and every once in a great while a few specks show up.

If history is any gauge, perhaps a few weeks, maybe a couple of months, or even 10 years!!! Take your pick. Confused

Yes. and it's even been given a scientific name that is specific to the Laguna Madre - Aureoumbra lagunensis - which is roughly translated from it's Latin roots to "The Golden Algae that Shades the Laguna". So hey, we can look at it as a real pain, or we can celebrate it's celebrity status Laughing Laughing

Went to Seadrift and fished south shoreline by Pringle Lake and water there was nice. I think their bay flushes in and out better???
