That is a great pic. Usually the blades get distorted and its just a blur.

I was fishing out of the Bluff for 8 days - one day this Helocopter circled our boat then around the KRS etc.... was waiting for "get out.. sharks coming" or something, but it just flew off.

I've seen some of your pics Chef. Absolutely outstanding.

Camera is a Nikon D800. It has it's pros & cons. File sizes are huge & only 4 fps. ISO is pretty dang clean up to 6400 & still usable at 25,480 when the pic is downsized. Full frame is better with my lenses than the D90 & with 36 mp I've got so much room to crop. The helicopter pic was shot at 200mm & it's not cropped to 100%, probably about 70%. It's a pretty darn cool machine.
