The Kingfish bite has been fairly crap over the last few days...it was red hot early in the week, but died as the winds started blasting.

Fished Saturday/Sunday/today and only got 2 kings (today, late afternoon). The head boats have been scratching out a few more, but it's very very slow.

Decent numbers of Atlantic Sharpnose sharks out at the furthest ships though, and that's where the kings have been.

There are loads of Bonita out in the clear green water, and some scattered small flying fish out past ~18 miles or so. Patchy scattered grass as well which makes trolling very difficult, but it has the potential to turn on any day now.

I've not seen any 'sow' snapper at the close rigs, but there are keepers there and they are HUNGRY.

Should be very easy limits of snapper when the "season" finally opens.

Well that's better then you saying don't come because the kingfish bites not there. Thanks for the info.

It should improve fairly quickly. We're pretty well booked up over the next two weeks thanks to snapper season opening, so I'll try to keep current reports up on here.

See you on the 15th Cool
