I couldnt resist it this morning, I was leaving a job in Ingleside and I decided to head toward one of my "Always Producing" spots near Port A. By the way I always keep one of my rods and at least a lil of my gear in my truck for fishin. Especially when I know the weather is gonna be decent. This is what I ended up with, a VERY NICE 29 7/8" SPECK and 5 other really nice trout. And Yes, the big trout is goin up on my wall. All fish caught pluggin. Not too shabby of a morning, I stopped at Roys but I was a lil too early, wanted to get her weighed!!!

I noticed the water starting to shape up yesterday at bayside and the portland waters as i drove bye.

YEA, I know... I am an active member of the CCA and Im always entered in the STAR Tournament. But the STAR Tournament doesnt start until May 26th and ends September 3rd. My trout would have definitely been on the board !!!! Ill get an official weight on her soon, I just dont trust my scale, thats why I stopped by Roys.

I was wading this morning, but I have a boat, kayak, and a jet ski that I fish off of depending on the situation.
