Hit the water early and it was somewhat chilly this morning. I am glad I bought a CUDA which keeps you dry. I fished hard cover lots of different depths in the flats and only managed two keeper trout by 11:00am. Caught too many dinks and rats. Decided to move one more time and that was the right decision. Started catching trout after trout with about every one in five being a keeper. Finished the day with 8 trout and one drum. I really wish this brown tide would go else where. I would rather fish lures instead of live shrimp.

Did you guys do the BTB this morning? I thought about it and decided to stay shallow. The north wind had me spooked.

Yeah JLR, a few of us went out in at different times. The only ones that had luck were the guys that got into the sharks at the rigs. Nada at the gas pipe off bhp. It was a fun adventure, but looking at your report along with rabbits from shamrock, I probably would have had more fun trying for trout or looking for tailing reds. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20!
