So my BTB bud wants to join me/us sunday morning but his car is out of commission. I was going to let him use one of my kayaks, but I still can only carry one on my car. Anybody planning on going BTB Sunday and may have room in their truck for on extra kayak, shoot me a pm. I live on the island, so its not far from anywhere we decide to launch. We plan on getting to the beach at sunrise and launching shortly after.

I got some old frozen ribbon fish but I'll likely just be using artificials. If our group gets large we can divide and conquer, split up between to spots. I can imagine 8 yaks around one rig casting for a single ling Wink

i have a 20lb mono spinner you can use Bigd and tons of spare wire king rigs i have been making them since i was 10...
i dont think i can paddle further than the bob hall standpipe either just saying...
so i got my anchor is 50 feet of rope enough?
and does anyone know who has ribbon fish now? cos-way didn't have them last time(that why i had ballyhoo...it was fresh though)

I doubt I can make it tomorrow. My wife hired a photographer to go on the boat with us and take family photos. I am not sure where she gets these ideas but I am going to have to play along. I think she is hoping to catch another big trout while she is all gussied up and with a professional photographer on the boat??? Where are you guys heading and what time? I might be able to make a short morning or noon trip. I am still thinking about a Monday trip as well.

We are checking the driving conditions on mustang for those rigs out there...if we cant get the vehicles down the beach then we will head to bob hall....being a sunday with nice weather there might be a ton of people at that little stand ...around sunup sometime

three boats trolled around the bob hall standpipe without getting bit, they moved off to the rigs further offshore...i noticed there were a few quality fish hiding in deep cover in the rig, and some small fish further from the rig to catch...it definitely wasn't quite the rig fishing experience i'm used to...less structure underwater i guess and fewer bites because of it...no signs of kings when i was there...
