Hey all,

We are planning to come down from Austin this weekend. Is it going to be to windy for Bob Hall?

Offshore/nearshore wave forecasts look incredibly terrible, so I would probably not count on fishing in the surf.

The tide looks rather weak for next couple of days, and the solunar table shows "average" at best through the weekend. This would probably mean a slow bite at Packery but I'm certainly no expert.

You might look at wading the backside of Mustang Island if you're going to be in that area. Local bay guides have been doing very well on reds the last week and a half or so.

Failing that, buy some beer, fire up the pit, and enjoy the coast Smile

Beats Austin traffic by miles and miles Very Happy

Don't feel bad Jhardy, it's not you they're mad at. They found out I don't have to work OT this weekend! Embarassed

If trying to fish the pier this weekend better take a rain suit to keep dry from the waves. Wink
