It' be nice if they would pave Sea Pines to the water. But then it would get over crowded quick!

Access was blocked via sea pines, last time I was out there. Land owner had a backhoe and dug a pretty wide ditch to block vehicle access. Jason Slocum

heard about the backhoe ditch from snookered, but he says you can still get around it with a 4X4

It is true they dug a ditch from sea pines all the way to the other inlet back on Allamanda - however, a guy I know used his jacked up Toyota to plow the sand into the ditch at sea pines - you do need a 4x4 to crawl over the gap - but its do-able

Is this private property we are talking about? If it is, why condone and promote trespassing?

In Texas a land owner has a responsibility to make sure their rights are protected from conspicuous trespass. That is where the owner knows people are using the property as a right of way between two points (ie. a public road and a state owned shoreline). If the owner does not in some way prohibit the trespass then they can lose the right to prohibit it in the future or to transfer the property without the implied right of way. This is about the only thing I remember from my Business Law class in college, so I cannot blame the land owner for protecting his title.

Haven't been in months and won't be going back if it is now posted "NO TRESPASSING". Laws are laws.
