| It does work. When I was a kid that is how we kept shrimp bought at bait shops in Brownsville and Port Isabel during the 50's. So it's been around a long time. |

the saw dust from treated lumber has chrome, copper and arsenic impregnated in it, so it will not work effectively. I imagine it would kill the shrimp immediately. _________________ Wishin I was fishin!

It does keep them alive for a while but nothing compared to a bucket with air. What I like about the saw dust is it keeps the shrimp super fresh after you reach home and freeze it in the saw dust, the shrimp look like they died minutes ago even after freezing for a few weeks. _________________ The Hardhead Whisperer |
