I saw that...it's built on a current Rubicon chassis.

If Jeep would make that, slap a TDI 4 cylinder turbo diesel in it and price it under $40K, I'd buy one.

Had a '59FJ40(?) for a year back in the 70's up north w/a plow(snow). Wow, was that thing great for getting around obstacles while plowing...geared like a tractor...sounded like it would explode if you went over 50mph. Left the area and sold it. It was really cool but even in the mid 70's parts were found in the junk yard only.... Wink

That is nice. I'd put a turbo 4BT under that. I run a 93' Sahara. Wouldn't drive anything else other than a Jeep. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/560969_10150605452816642_599991641_9148208_1761738364_n.jpg

A 4BT powered jeep would be amazing...great creepability, good power, good fuel economy..what's not to love?

Those 4BT's are torque monsters. One of my buddies out in Arizona puta turbo 4BT under his 2000 TJ. Man, cranking out over 430 ft. lbs of torque. Then he gets 28 MPG.
