You're making me lose my concentration on the upcoming turkey season. I've got to call up the thunderchickens for a few guys, but before that I may have to get out on the island! The only pomps I've seen since Fall are in my aquarium, but yours look like better table fare.

I think you may be right tyler. Royals and caspians are really similar. I don't think juvenile royals have black heads and caspians do? Question for capt. billy.

good photos. time for *someone* to pick up a copy of the Book of Sibley (Sibley's Guide to Birds)

Pic 1 - Royal Tern
Pic 2 - immature Forster's terns
Pic 3 - good test pic, has mainly royal terns, one Caspian, and the smaller Forsters juveniles.

Next report will not purport to know squat about birds Very Happy
http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/black_skimmer/id/ac

Funny, as I knew better (didn't know name of the mis-labeled guys, but knew and "should" have been able to not mis-label them as a Skimmer...

For those wondering what all the fuss is...here is the real "Skimmer"...kind of obvious as it skims along...hence the name!

Hope me and Google got this right!

Good job!

I remember looking at the Sunday conditions wondering if anyone would get in on some Pompano. I love Pompano Fishing. It's nice to see someong killing a few.

BTW, you caught a Florida daily limit!
