^ or Bruiser reds. I mean that little metal lever better hold up to some serious force. I would bet an upper slot red would really test the metal arms sticking off of the main jig head to the lure. I bet it will end up working but it's kind of a cheap invention imo.

Just looks like a small version of the umbrella rigs we troll offshore. They are a bit of a pain when you bring them back on board. I can't imagine the mess these smaller versions would cause when you bring a fiesty speck or two.
