My good friend Steve took some reels for me out to John Chaney to get worked on. Thanks Steve for doing that for me. He sure saved me a lot of driving out to Anaville so when he bought the reels back to me today I took him out for a fishing trip.

When we got out on the water winds were already kicking arse and progressively got worse throughout the morning.

Started out at Pita. I was throwing tequila eels and he was throwing watermelon that he bought from John. First drift resulted in this 24" drum.

Went back around and picked up a 23" and this 24" trout.

A few more drifts and I said to Steve that I was going to switch to red/white and see if I could get a flounder. A few minutes later I get this 20.5" to hit my eel.

Then the dinks started hitting. Move a little farther north and caught a few more trout. By this time the winds were really ripping and water turned to chocolate. It was time to make it home.

Here is the aggregate catch.

Nice catch Zia, that's a nice flounder makes for a good fish fry.

Nice catch! I thought there would be a good bite today ahead of the front, just wish I could of got off work to take advantage of it.

I convinced my wife to do some honey-dos on Tues and am going to do a C&R day. I'll be with my dog unless someone wants to join me and help with gas.
