The dredge was working this morning just east of the boat ramp. There are three lines spraying material onto the beach in front of the Island House Hotel. They also have a dozer and backhoe spreading the sand along the beach. The beach has been raised significantly on the south end of the seawall, and the tide line has been pushed out 70 yards or so. If this widening continues northward, there will be a lot more beach for awhile. _________________ E Pluribus Unum |
