true Ur right nothing beats experience this would simply be a tool, some fore knowledge and experience would be needed

Experience is number one but luck helps too. Maybe add horoscopes?? Just Joking good luck with the app. I am not sure if it is possible but if you could have access to all of the items and make it customizable so you could choose the ones on your screen.

You might think about adding size and bag limits. State records would be cool too.

Just curious.......what does "take this survey up and document it" involve?
Also, don't forget to mention that although the majority of votes in your poll are in favor of the app, your small sample size may not be an accurate representation of "fishermen" as a whole.
