Hey, just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Taylor Mangum and I'm a student at A&M Corpus chasing a degree in marine biology, have been at the school for a semester and have been fishing since i was little when my dad would take me to Aransas pass and take me out on the gulf, however due to circumstances and age my knowledge on fishing is limited and any advice from yall would be greatly appreciated, I'm gonna try to go pound sand for pompano , that is if the weather cooperates with me, on pins or north jetty, like i said any advice i could get would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,

Welcome Taylor, try wade fishing the drops with a Mirror lure at sunrise and see if you can catch you a Big Yellow Mouth! Better when you have a north blowing. Cool

Congratulations on choosing a location to get your education and still be near the best fishing in the state! Good luck and stay with it. It's worth it!
