There have been a number of posts regarding suggestions and recommendations. I suggest you search the older posts and you will find a lot of information.

I have already back-read the posts, bobber, in fact I have actually called some of them , I was merely asking for more timely advice, not becoming a target for people to get their post count up without really saying anything.

All Creatures is good but NOT cheap. Cheap and good rarely go together in my book. Good Luck!

All creatures great and small has my vote. In the service industries cheap, good and fast tend to be mutually exclusive qualities.

Thanks guys, I'll check out All Creatures Great and Small. My deer deserves the best, and not some bubba's garage. I'll keep y'all posted. Somebody IMed me and advised that I could mount it myself if I got it drunk and told it I love you first, but I don't know if I'm up for that.

Shur's off Rodd field gets all my stuff and i have a lot of mounts. Troy is a stand up guy and does great work 361-688-1399

Just don't use the one in Refugio, TX had 4 of my mounts and deposit for over 2 years n never did any thing and still has my money. I took them to Shur's ( FIRST TIME I DELTA WITH TROY ) and he had them done in 3-4 months plus 2 others and a rug. that's six mounts and a rug finished in less than half a year.
Not bad if u ask me. He has my aoudad now and when i get back from Alaska he'll be get my two caribou and wolf hopefully.

You might try TX Wildlife & Taxidermy, a new place in the Bluff. Charles Morrison is one of the owners. He seems like a nice guy, and has been in the business a long time. 429-5804

Thanks for all your help guys, but I was getting quotes of $600.00 and up so I enrolled in the Flour Bluff Internet Correspondence Shcool for Fishing Guide/Captains, Taxidermy, and General Dentistry. After lesson one I was ready to try my hand and here are the results. Not the best , but the best I can do at this time with a grand total investment of $120.00, not counting the correspondence school tuition.(I gave them a post-dated check just in case).[/img]
